why do we need to change?

Being judgmental might feel good, but it doesn’t help us learn and practice emotional regulation skills.

The more we choose to judge, the more we continue to judge.

However, processing our judgments and emotions helps us grow our emotional capacity, so we can hold ourselves while working through disagreements with others without losing it.

The more we practice emotional regulation skills, the better we understand other people's emotions and life experiences.

How much we can contribute is determined by our capacity.
