The time spent preparing for a class, project, or meeting is often underestimated. In a fast-paced environment, it's easy to assume we should jump into a conversation or make a decision quickly.

Just because we do something often does not mean we do it well. In fact, many mistakes and regrets arise from rushed decisions and rationale.

The more critical a class, project, or meeting is, the more time we dedicate to preparation.

Mediocrity begins with small things.
