the same thing

There is a saying: insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

To get a different outcome, it helps to adjust how we do something, including getting to know why we do something.

It's possible that doing the same thing has created incremental changes that are subtle but still noticeable.

It's possible that doing the same thing is simply checking it off the list, so we feel less guilty about not doing it.

It's possible that seeking a different outcome isn't what we want after all because it's inconvenient and asks us to change.

Catch the moment of disconnection and reconnect with ourselves: am I longing for a different outcome? Can doing it this way again help me get there?
