the importance of warmth

When it comes to communities or organizations that’s perceived as communities, one important thing that often gets overlooked is how warm we feel about them.

The warm feeling isn’t just about one person but the overall impression. If most of the employees and community members aren’t willing to show the warmth towards each other, it might be because most of people don’t feel the warmth themselves.

Real community cares greatly. The overwhelming warmth tells how people truly feel about being a member and what we can offer to each other.

Caring has a temperature, and it feels warm.

When we don’t feel the warmth in a so-called community, it’s highly possible that we aren’t in one, regardless of what it’s called.

Creating that warmth is part of the work real communities focus on.
