Writing daily is my thing. Before I learned the science behind it, I credited the action to my determination.
I write it to learn and grow by creating an argument, a thinking process, a chance to fail, and the certainty to practice. On good days, they might even help others with their thinking and learning. Because of all these met needs, I get to stick to it.
When we do something that at least three of our core needs are met at a high level, it becomes an obsession. For people like me, writing daily is how we show up and keep going.
With this understanding, I wonder, for the work that’s hard but worth doing, how we might build it so we keep going?
