the challenges with a shared reality

Shared reality is the foundation for connections.

When one person sees one reality while the other sees a different one, it’s not surprising that making connections become challenging.

Shared reality requires communication, but we cannot share everything all the time, especially when building a community business.

Instead of sharing all the details, we can create a reality where both sides are valued.

Customer experience is important, but we cannot offer it at the expense of our own team. Even when things are invisible to customers, making the right decisions still matters for our business operations.

Empathy goes both ways. And only then can we evaluate and decide.

Don't let the shared reality oversimplify the complexity of issues. Finding a way to care for both sides is how we lead and serve the people we seek to serve.
