In challenging times, it’s understandable that we expect things to become better, easier, or even return to the way they were before. The familiarity. The normality.
But what if what’s happening right now is the most normal we will ever get? What if it’s the easiest we will ever have? What if this is the most stable we will ever live in? Does that help us to change?
Instead of expecting things to get easier for us, we choose to learn to adapt and grow to understand.
Instead of expecting others to be better humans, we choose to practice skills that help us constantly shift our triggered emotions, regardless of what curveballs life throws at us.
Instead of waiting for things to get better, we choose to do the small things differently to help others and influence the environment around us. This belief is that little things matter and little things add up to make significant shifts.
When we commit to and focus on discovering the best version of ourselves, we get to choose to live in our best state, and the world around us changes too.
If there are enough of us show up in our best selves, we can count on each other to create and grow.
