I noticed this word in a holiday message from the community I belong. The signature says "with joy, love and suspense".
Suspense is an unusual word in the signature. When looking up its definition, the Internet says: a state or feeling of excited or anxious uncertainty about what may happen. In other words, it’s an undetermined state or feeling.
What is suspense right now might go either way any time soon.
Even though suspense is an uncomfortable state to live with, it magically brings out the optimism inside us.
As much as it leads to the negative, so does the hope.
