When we are around people who prioritize self-serving instead of serving others, convenience (what’s easy instead of what’s contributing), and obsessing over having power over instead of power with, we have become these attributes too.
Surround yourself (myself) with people who serve others more than you would, doing hard things that are neither easy nor convenient, and understand that when we empower others, we are helping ourselves, too.
