This is the first time that I write a book. It is the first time that I market a book. As you can imagine, figuring out how to market has been a learning journey. I am learning from Seth Godin's the Marketing Seminar at Udemy. The first two sections have changed how I see book marketing already. It's helpful and thought-provoking, just like everything else Seth does. If you are like me and trying to figure out how to market your service or product, join the course. What makes it even better is you will get a discount when you enroll by the end of August – a code shared here on Seth's blog.
The public schools need help. Alongside the book, I launched my Substack space, which is dedicated to sharing the book and related topics. A few blogs have been posted, and I plan to continue sharing my thoughts about public schools there.
At Throw and Build, we've been working tirelessly to prepare our studio for the grand opening party on Saturday afternoon, September 7. If you're in Seattle, we'd love for you to join us. Our classes and membership sign-ups are now open to email subscribers. If you're interested, we invite you to sign up to receive news on the opening date, updates on classes and events, and registration deadlines.
We're looking forward to seeing you at the grand opening!
