The city’s longest trail runs through our neighborhood. Cyclists and pedestrians pass our front yard to get on the trail.
Coming up a delicious recipe and set up a table were easy for them. The hard part was greeting people and serve their customers. It was nerve racking. They worried that nobody wanted to buy it and tried to talk themselves out of selling.
The question might help to get to the bottom of this: if nobody would buy their lemonade, would they still want to sell it and learn something? Once they figure out the answer, everything else became easier.
Being willing to sing alone when nobody joins is the first step to lead, in almost any situation.
