My 11-year old has his eyes on a toy that might cost him 6 months allowances or more to be able to buy it.
He asked what he might be able to do so he gets to play with it sooner. I saw how much he wants the toy and wondered what his thought might be.
He said, “doing something that I can get paid for, maybe?”
“What would that be?” I asked. He tried to figure it out.
