As the result, students have more self-confidence.
The same level of self-confidence can be achieved through studying and good grades, but the difference is that it is through being measured by tests. When moving out of the school system where tests no longer exist, many people don’t know what to do with themselves.
Maybe the ultimate purpose of project-based learning is to prepare kids with learning and skills to thrive in the world without tests? Instead of waiting to be told what to do, they have gained the ability to pick themselves and do the work that matters to them.
