It’s easy to focus on problems by jumping right in, but taking a step back can be rewarding. What’s the context that goes beyond the problem? The bigger reason leads to it from the start.
What is the change we commit to make as an organization? And which strategy aligns with it the most?
The ways we approach a problem and solve it say a lot about us. It may not be obvious to see and notice, but that’s the clue the others see and believe. Over and over.
Problem-solving either builds trust with the people whom we solve it with, or work against it. Seeing the differences is a skill in leading.
