pedagogy, culture, belief

It's easy to believe pedagogy is the only thing that matters about schools. But the reality proves something different.

Schools with a working pedagogy but don't understand the culture find themselves in a bind. Schools that have adopted a culture but haven't developed their pedagogy often find themselves in constant conflict and problems due to misalignment.

Pedagogy reflects the purpose and beliefs of schools. Even though pedagogy often takes center stage in schools, culture holds significant power to either amplify or undermine it.

When we put all three together, we get a complete picture of schools.
