If you are working on an important project, getting stuck is common. There are at least three kinds of stuck that we face:
1. We are afraid of becoming who we set out to be. The fear is real, and resistance holds us back from getting things done and shipping our projects.
2. The knowledge gaps—easy things have been done already, but complex things require us to understand more than we often think. When we hit the knowledge gap, being stuck is natural.
3. Finding the balance of energy and well-being. Getting burnt out is a form of stuck that keeps us from advancing.
Being stuck means something we tried isn't working. Learning about ourselves and the information we need helps us find ways forward, even when they look like detours.
