Water parks were filled with children and their families. The start of August marked the halfway point of summer, especially for school children. During their time away from school, kids have ample opportunity to explore and learn: what do they enjoy doing or avoid? Who are the friends they choose to hang out with? And what decisions have they made about themselves?
Learning happens everywhere if we pay attention. The reason we love summer isn't just the lovely weather or the farmer's market... It's also because we get to choose to live more like ourselves.
