A question about leaders on Capitol Hill remains: are our lawmakers seeking to serve their party or their constituents?
If the outcome between the party vs. constituents means changing their decisions, even the direction of the bill, taking a step back and questioning the WHY isn't just necessary, but a must.
Because the party should serve people: what works for the party should work for people. When it’s not, we must reserve the course and view it in the context of the system.
Systems that don’t serve or do half-ass jobs need to be redesigned, reconstructed, and rebuilt.
Giving children the best school experiences that science and technology have proven to work and that support should be the goal of our school boards. When the system only works for itself and the adults in it, but not for the majority of children, it's no wonder parents choose to move away from it rather than support it.
Systems can be changed for the better.
Systems must serve.
It’s up to the mass majority to see it. Demand it. And keep pushing for it.
