It has nothing to do with convenience. As a matter of fact, it’s the opposite.
It has nothing to do with personal gain. You may need to spend hours and hours participating and pay for expensive parking tickets out of your own pocket.
It has nothing to do with being right or wrong. You might be the both through the whole process.
But like other work that matters, it’s worth doing because this is how we, as a society, collectively build our legal system and democracy.
