judgy & joy

When we notice the thoughts like “I should’ve”, “I shouldn’t have”, “I have to”, it’s a pretty good sign that our empathy cup is low.

There are many reasons that drive our empathy cup low: physically not feeling well, had a bad dream and poor sleep, kids did something that’s frustrating, not liking what’s happening in the world or with each other… the list goes on and on.

Finding something joyful to do could help bring our empathy cup back up like coloring, have a conversation with our loved ones, taking a walk, playing with children, reading a good book or cooking a good meal… the list goes on and on.

When we feel judgy, it’s our opportunity to connect with joy and fill up our empathy cup.

What brings you joy?
