It’s important to practice the skills we want to be better at.
Knowing what to improve, on the other hand, is a whole different matter. If we have never been to a place, it’s impossible to describe what it feels like to be there. We don’t know what we simply don’t know.
Find a few role models and learn from them. Whose work do we admire? And why do we admire them? Understanding what they have done that connects and inspires people can be helpful to make our work better.
Practice and creativity are a privilege. Take the advantage of the opportunity.
