impossible possibility

“绳锯木断,水滴石穿” is a Chinese proverb originated from the Song dynasty (960-1279). It means inch by inch, a rope cuts across a piece of wood; drip by drip, water drills through a rock. It’s a metaphor about achieving what seems impossible through a small but consistent daily practice.

For many of us, the small daily practice isn’t an issue but where the practice leads to is the question. If we can’t see the whole picture where the small daily practice fits, it doesn’t matter how small it is, it's challenging to keep it going.

Having the clarity of the goal and a map to get there might make that small daily practice possible.
