Disagreement in a group can manifest in many ways, including circling conversations without progress.
One person shared a point of view, and another shared a different one. Everyone has opinions, but no one is interested in agreeing on anything.
When we experience circling conversations, we might experience hidden polarity that requires further communication for alignment and shared reality. Spending time and energy to reach a consensus is an important step.
But before that, understanding what we disagree on helps us see where we are and the potential path forward.
Having a polarized opinion isn't a problem; not addressing the polarity is.
