half empty vs. half full

For every unmet need, there are two ways to address it: positively and negatively. With enough practice, we learned to view things from a positive lens instead of falling into the old habit of being negative. That being said, the negative offers values as well: noticing that we are tired, stressed, frustrated, off balance, hungry, and overwhelmed, etc.

Learning to see the glass as half full instead of half empty helps us remain hopeful and get back up again; more importantly, it allows us to learn about ourselves and the possibilities ahead.
