feedback resilience

If we didn't grow up in an environment where showing our work is part of the practice (that applies to most of us), getting feedback from others can be scary and overwhelming. Fear of being triggered and not knowing what to do with it could be one of the important reasons holding us back from sharing our work. 

Having an expectation might help. 

Feedback holds value. They may not always be helpful, but every single feedback provides an opportunity. Because they are unexpected or even challenging, they help us practice discernment and listening skills, manage our reactions and emotions, and increase our capacity to respond.
