Being aware of our emotional state helps when we meet others either in person or online.

When being triggered by something that someone said or did, it’s challenging to stay present let alone connect, and contribute.

Suppressing our feelings as if nothing happened often backfires, big time.

Taking a break to understand our emotions is a helpful reminder. With enough self-support or support from others, it's possible to regain the capacity to connect and contribute.
