When we take things personally, as we often do, we are not in a state to discern but to feel and flow. This is because the state of feeling and flowing is where interpretation and inner stories develop and grow.
Discernment requires us to be our most centered selves when we don't take things personally and check our feelings. Being centered allows us to stay neutral and look at things with curiosity and the lens of truth rather than personal opinions and preferences.
Being able to judge well helps us make better decisions. To get there, we need a state of consciousness.
