daily self-empathy journal

Connecting to feelings and unmet needs can be one of the ways that we ground ourselves. Checking in to understand how we feel and what leads us to feel this way brings clarity otherwise might be ignored or overlooked.

There are two questions to start the journal with:

What am I feeling right now?
What might my needs be behind these feelings?

List as many things as you can think of and identify the priority needs that you want to meet most.

Self-empathy practice is an effective way for self-connection. Until we can support ourselves with empathy, it's challenging to be empathic towards others.
