curiosity vs. distrust

From the surface, they look the same.

People who lead with either stand on the opposite side of you.

When look closer, they operate in totally different ways.

Curiosity points to the potential for a better outcome, with an understanding of where everyone is and the genuine wonder of whether things can be better through collective explorations.

Distrust operates like competition, creating a either-or mindset. Instead of improving, it puts people on the defensive, debating who is right and who is wrong, as if success is determined by winning.

When we work on a project or build a business, choosing the energy we embrace matters. Our choice decides how we show up and be with others.

Focusing on the outcome that serves helps us evaluate the energy we lead with.
