There are at least two kinds of feedback: the one we want to hear and the one we need to hear.
The generous feedback – the one that genuinely helps us progress in life (whether we realize it or not) is the latter rather than the former.
Hearing the generous feedback is an important assessment of how connected we are with ourselves and our emotional capacity and skills. It’s not always easy to hear something we need, but mastering the skill opens windows and doors.
