You need a brand if you have a business, an initiative, a campaign, or a movement. Your brand helps you stand out and connect.

There are at least two ways to create a brand: belief/vision driven or market driven.

The former is mainly based on the leadership team’s vision and beliefs and rally the audiences around, while the latter focuses on the positioning you want to own in the market place to differentiate from your competitors.

These approaches are distinctively different from each other. Knowing which one will work for you is half of the work in creating a brand.
