I have been working on my book, What is School For? A manifesto for parents, for the past three years. I have made progress and am close to finishing it. It has been such a long and incredible journey. Not only have I made friends like you along the way, but the amount of learning explored is beyond what I had expected. I’m forever grateful.
What has happened in our school district for the past couple of months has been a strong nudge for me to focus and get the book done, not just because of what we have been experiencing collectively but because the need for this book has become apparent.
Due to my limited capacity to focus and push through this last phase with the book and the spotty Internet while I’m away, I have decided to pause my daily blogs starting tomorrow. I will resume on Monday, July 22.
