Being helpful to other people's emotional well-being has become increasingly challenging.

You have a bad experience with someone in the past that still triggers you today.



He is not happy about how his boss handled the conflicts between him and another person.

She just fought with her boyfriend and is exhausted when we meet.

I went to bed late and had a bad dream that still bothers me now.

It’s easy to carry the disconnected feelings everywhere we go. “This is how I am feeling right now”, you thought, “and I’m going to be honest about it”. There is a difference between taking responsibility for your emotions and projecting your disconnection onto others who have nothing to do with it.

When we have processed our own emotions, we have a chance to help others recognize theirs, too.
