about teaching

It’s a great way to learn.

When we teach, there are a few things to consider besides empathizing with the audiences and their needs:

- The anchor point should be consistent throughout the whole session.

- There are many ways to slice a topic; use the one that says the most about you (who you are).

- Dumbing down a complicated conversation isn’t the goal, but getting the information straightforward and clear so people can understand is.

- Always try something new, even when we aren’t sure how it turns out.

On the surface, we teach others. But deep down, we are the ones who learned the most from doing it.

Happy teaching!
