It's challenging to have a productive meeting when we don't know what one looks like.
A productive meeting has everyone's intention on a shared goal. It involves a time frame, agenda items, decisions, and solutions when we can't decide.
A few points that might help to get ready:
What does preparation look like for each participant?
Check our state of being when showing up for the meeting.
Team assessment on the topics that everyone is ready to dive in. If participants need more time to process and discuss a topic, assign a time for another discussion (the same goes for the undecided items).
Like the meeting preparations, the follow-up is equally important:
Productive meetings bring clarity, build confidence among the team, save everyone's time, and, more importantly, strengthen the trust and connections that make peer support possible.
