It’s hard to lead with bad feelings.
When things don’t work, we feel frustrated, disappointed, anxious, stressed out, and dejected. These are not feelings and emotions to show up and lead for anyone.
Instead of staying busy connecting ourselves to after-the-fact emotions and feelings and heal, our job is to create conditions so we don’t have to experience events that trigger a negative emotional loop.
A small success helps us build incremental confidence in creating better conditions for leading and caring.
Creating a positive emotional loop is a crucial way to lead in any circumstance or challenge.
