a habit of seeing others

When we first start to write about something, we often start with ourselves: who we are, what we like and care about, and how we hope to learn about something.

Moving forward, we have more confidence and capacity to see others: who they are, what they like and care about, and how they hope to learn about something.

It's easy to think I am talking about oppositions here, but I am not. It's about the different angles of seeing to understand and internalize. When these angles nudge us to go deeper, narrow the gap, and close it, we have reached the point of resonating, hence serving.

Being willing to stand in other people's shoes and making gap-closing a habit are the practices for people who create to connect.
