a broken promise

When a sale has been made, it is the seller's job to ensure they deliver the promise to the customers.

There are many reasons for the delivery that went missing. A dog ate it. Someone made a mistake. The address was confusing. The weather was terrible.

Customers are understanding people. They accept all the reasons. But a broken promise costs more than a product, service, or experience.

It costs trust.

You can replace physical orders but can't replace someone's trust. Rebuilding is possible, and it takes way more than a missing order. If you aren't ready to deliver the promise, don't sell it from the start.
